Application
The installation formed an integral part of a logistics centre for the storage and distribution of diverse chemical products.
PH Technology supplied and installed the integrated plastic and stainless steel piping system for distributing chemical products around the plant.
Characteristics
The various circuits installed had diameters of between DN15 and DN100.
In all, about 14,000 metres of pipe, 30,000 fittings and 2,000 valves were installed in various materials.
PH Technology organised the provision of all the materials, as well as making and installing the pipes.
Operating Conditions
The nominal pressures for the piping were PN10 and PN16, depending on the circuit. The maximum operating temperature was fixed at 30ºC.
The operating fluids were all those stored at the plant, both acids and bases at commercial concentrations.
Material
The plastic materials used for the pipes were PVC-U, PVC-U glass, PE100 and PVDF.
The stainless steel pipes were made in AISI 316.
