Application
In this project, PH Technology was responsible for the supply and installation, including support structures, of a variety of piping systems in plastic. The choice of material was determined by the particulars of each of the piping systems.
Characteristics
The various piping systems were both above and below ground.
The circulating water and cooling systems, in FRP material, totalled 1500m, with a maximum diameter of DN700.
The drinking water and service systems, in PE material, totalled 4000m, with a maximum diameter of DN250.
Finally, the drainage systems, in PP material, totalled 3000m, with a maximum diameter of DN150.
Operating Conditions
The design parameters depended on the functions of the systems involved.
The maximum hydrostatic test pressure was 11 bar.
Material
The materials used were the following:
– FRP, for circulating water and cooling systems
– PE100, for drinking water and sevice systems
– PP, for circulating water and drainage systems
