Water treatment plant in combined cycle power station

Índice del post

Application
The complete installation of separate plants for water treatment (PTA) and electrochlorination (PE) for the supply of service, drinking and demineralized water at a 400MW combined cycle power station.

Characteristics
Huelva Plastics was responsible for the manufacture of all the racks that make up the plant (metal structures and pipes), as well as the assembly of all the static and dynamic elements (pumps, filters and tanks).
Similarly, Huelva Plastics was responsible for the supply, prefabrication and installation of all the piping that makes up the plant ( perimeter rings, networking and chemical feeds).

Operating Conditions
The choice of materials was determined by the diferent operating fluids (water, chemical agents, aire).
The variety of circuits and materials was reflected in the different operating and test pressures, which ranged from 10 bar (plastic piping) up to 60 bar (metal piping).

Material
For the low pressure water pipes and chemical feeds materials such as PP (polypropylene), C-PVC (polyvinylchloride post) and PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) were used.

For the high pressure water and air pipes, metallic materials such as AISI 304, 316 and 904 were used.
