Construction of a chlorination reactor in a manufacturing plant for tricloroisocian\u00e1rico acid and sodium hypochlorite.<\/p>\n

Characteristics<\/h4>\n

Two units were manufactured in the same year. The equipment has a main bore of \u00d8800mm, and a total height of 16,000mm.<\/p>\n

Operating Conditions<\/h4>\n

The reactors wer designed to operate at a maximum pressure of 2.5bar, and a maximum temperature of 60\u00baC. A further design constraint was set at 500mm.ca of vacuum.<\/p>\n

The operating fluid was composed of chlorine, trisodium cyanurate and tricloroisocian\u00e1rico acid (ATCC).<\/p>\n

The reactors were of dual composition, with a liner of PVC-U and isophthalic polyester resin FRP structural reinforcement.<\/p>\n
