Application<\/strong>
\nRepositioning of a series of flanges in the pipework of a cooling system (manufactured by others) in a combined cycle power station.
\nThese flanges were left out of place after the laying of the concrete floor, resulting in difficulty with subsequent connections.<\/p>\n

Characteristics<\/strong>
\nSpecifically, these four flanges of 1350mm diameter, were displaced from their intended position by up to 115mm horizontally and 80mm vertically. Two separate inserts of 450mm diameter were also out of position.
\nPH Technology<\/strong><\/span> was responsible for repositioning the flanges and joining them to the pipes, leaving the system ready for subsequent hydraulic testing.<\/p>\n

Operating Conditions<\/strong>
\nThe hydraulic tests were fixed at a pressure of 6 bar.<\/p>\n

Material<\/strong>
\nThe repair was carried out using a bisphenol-A type vinylester epoxy resin FRP DERAKANE 411\/350 throughout the laminate.<\/p>\n
