Manufacture of filter housings for pressure vessels, together with their internal fittings, for a water treatment plant.<\/p>\n

Characteristics<\/h4>\n

The equipment was composed of an outer casing and internal components for supporting the filter cartridges. The diameter of the equipment was determined by the total number of filter elements. In this case, the diameters were 750 and 1000.<\/p>\n

PH Technology<\/strong><\/span> was responsible for both the mechanical design (conforming to PED) and the manufacture of the housings and internal elements.<\/p>\n

Operating conditions<\/h4>\n

The equipment was designed to operate at a pressure of 6 bar, with a test pressure in accordance with PED 97\/23\/EC of 8.6 bar.<\/p>\n

The fluids to be treated were brackish water, and water from the cleaning of membranes.<\/p>\n

The maximum permissible pressure differential across the filter plate holder was 2 bar.<\/p>\n

Material<\/h4>\n

The housings were manufactured in FRP on an isoftolic acid polyester resin base, and the internal components were polypropylene.<\/p>\n
