Application<\/strong>
\nFor this project PH Technology<\/strong><\/span> staff worked as supervisors, carrying out monitoring and inspection of the assembly of a large diameter pipe, part of an expansion of a petrochemical complex.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Characteristics<\/strong>
\nThe piping system is for water catchment, and is composed of 14,000m of GRP material pipe in diameters ranging from DN900 to DN3600. Joints made in the field were all laminated.
\nThis system also incorporates 5000m of piping in FRE (epoxy resin) material, with diameters ranging from DN100 to DN800. For this system the joints were laminated and glued.<\/p>\n

Operating Conditions<\/strong>
\nThe FRP piping had a design pressure of 11.3 bar and was pressure tested to 15 bar. For the FRE lines the design pressure was 18.5 bar, and they were pressure tested to 27.7 bar.

\nMaterial<\/strong>
\nThe piping system was manufactured from FRP, using a bisphenol-A vinylester epoxy resin, and FRE.<\/p>\n
