Application<\/strong>
\nThe manufacture, assembly and testing of two separate fire protection rings installed in the combined cycle power plants at Port de Barcelona (owned by Gas Natural) and Bes\u00f3s V (owned by Endesa).
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nCharacteristics<\/strong>
\nThese underground installations have a principal diameter of \u00d8315, and a total length of approximately 1800 m. each.
\nThe templates for the manholes giving access to the various valves were manufactured in the workshop, in order to shorten lead times on site.
\nThe joints were made by heat fusion welding.<\/p>\n

Operating Conditions<\/strong>
\nThe design pressure for the system was fixed at 12 bar.
\nOn the basis of the client’s specifications, the hydraulic testing of the whole system was carried out to a pressure of 18 bar.<\/p>\n

Material<\/strong>
\nThe whole installation was manufactured from PE100 material.
