{"id":2227,"date":"2011-12-11T18:46:47","date_gmt":"2011-12-11T17:46:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ph.inboundmarketer.es\/filter-housings\/"},"modified":"2011-12-11T18:46:47","modified_gmt":"2011-12-11T17:46:47","slug":"filter-housings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grupopht.com\/en\/references\/filter-housings\/","title":{"rendered":"Filter housings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This project involved the manufacture of a set of equipment in FRP and PP\/FRP materials for IKRA, a new PVC production plant owned by the Russian-Belgian consortium SIBUR \/ SOLVIN in Kstovo, Russia.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ph.inboundmarketer.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/ikra_1.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1257\" title=\"ikra_1\" src=\"http:\/\/ph.inboundmarketer.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/ikra_1-300x258.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"258\" srcset=\"https:\/\/grupopht.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/06\/ikra_1-300x258.jpg 300w, https:\/\/grupopht.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/06\/ikra_1-768x662.jpg 768w, https:\/\/grupopht.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/06\/ikra_1.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>The equipment was manufactured for our client Pall France, and <span style=\"color: #0a6bcc\"><strong>PH Technology<\/strong><\/span> was responsible for the mechanical design and manufacture of both the housings and internal fittings.<\/p>\n<p>The design and manufacture of this equipment was carried out in accordance with the guidelines set by the European code EN 13121.<\/p>\n<p>The total of nine sets, four vertical and five horizontal, were all (except two sets of air filters) designed as pressure equipment to be used as filter cartridges.<\/p>\n<h4>Operating conditions<\/h4>\n<p>Depending on operating conditions, the devices were made either in FRP or in PP \/ FRP. For casings made of FRP (based on bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester DERAKANE 411\/350), the internal fittings were of an epoxy resin composite material. For casings made of PP \/ FRP (epoxy resin based on bisphenol A vinylester DERAKANE 411\/350) the internal fittings were of PP (polypropylene).<\/p>\n<h4>Design<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ph.inboundmarketer.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/ikra_3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-small wp-image-1263\" title=\"ikra_3\" src=\"http:\/\/ph.inboundmarketer.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/ikra_3-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/grupopht.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/06\/ikra_3-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/grupopht.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/06\/ikra_3-150x150.jpg 150w, sizes=\"(max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/><\/a>The design specifications were as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pressure: 7 \/ 10 bar<\/li>\n<li>Temperature: 70 \/ 90\u00baC<\/li>\n<li>Fluid: rine \/ sodium hypochlorite \/ sulfuric acid \/ caustic soda<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Manufacturing<\/h4>\n<p>Except for the air filters, the equipment was manufactured by a helical winding process. <span style=\"color: #0a6bcc\"><strong>PH Technology<\/strong><\/span> has a 4-axis plastic rolling machine, allowing the rolling of a complete system (shell and background), without the need for laminated joints between these elements.<\/p>\n<p>This technology minimizes the number of laminated joints (limited to the strength of the grafts), thus minimizing the chances of failure of the unions.<\/p>\n<p>The manufacture of this equipment was carried out during the first half of 2011.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-2227 gallery-columns-7
