Construction of a chimney and droplet separator in plastic materials for a gas extraction system.
Characteristics
The chimney had an interior diameter of Ø900 and a total height of 40m, while the droplet separator had a section of Ø3000 and a height of 3500mm.
PH Technology was responsible for the design and fabrication of the equipment and its assembly on site.
Operating Conditions
The chimney system was designed to operate at a temperature of 60ºC.
Material
The chimney and separator were of dual composition, the liner being PP and the structural reinforcement an isophthalic polyester resin based FRP.
