Microfiltration racks and CIP plant

Application
These were low pressure microfiltration (MF) units, located upstream of a reverse osmosis (RO) stage.
The purpose of this systems was the reuse of biological wastewater of industrial origin.

Characteristics
Both the microfiltration systems and the CIP plant were based on a system of polyethylene pipes with diameters of DN200 and DN150. The maximum capacity of the system was 150 m³/h.
Huelva Plastics was responsible for the manufacture and assembly of the systems.
In all, three racks of microfilters and a CIP plant were manufactured.

Operating Conditions
This equipment was designed for a maximum operating pressure of 4 bar, and was tested to a pressure of 6 bar.
The operating fluid is water, together with an acidic cleaning solution.

Material
The piping system for the racks was manufactured from PE100.
The piping system for the CIP plant was manufactured from PE100 and PVC-C
